Fins in the window...

the coziest garage in brooklyn...
this is mona and sondre...they are by far the most magical duo i've come across in a very long time. 
they remind me of a french new wave couple...right out of a godard or truffaut film...i would love to make a little video of them taking a stroll or having a cup of tea... 

i was in brooklyn snapping pics for a project that i'm working on...you'll have to wait until september to see it...
saw these two gals sitting in this little tree/pod spot and had to stop...nothing like a random little nook in the middle of nowhere...

Under Over...

*sunny days=walking around/snapping pics...bees,flowers,birds ripped off pulled down painted over...makes it better...

*these are the kicks that i mentioned the other day...tom picked me up a pair for mother's day and i must say they've added a springggg to my step :)

Wild child Wild flower Wild one...

*maybe you've seen this around the city a million times but kermit/supreme had to be snapped...so here you go...i snapped it in the rain (cloudy/drippy day here in nyc)...

*bite on the neck

*hair bleached by the sun and spun into a bun...no...more of a knot

*we're playing music most nights and know one song really well...

La Vigoureuse aka Stephanie was in NYC last week and we some how managed to meet up! We had a little photo shoot in her hotel lobby and a great chat (in my broken broken French)...Check out her site for a few more snaps!

Six years later...

..Popped into Joe's Pub to see my friend Melissa Errico perform her new album "Lullabies and Wildflowers"...I did the album cover and some other items...like the poster you see here...
....then we grabbed some sushi and headed over to Mercury Lounge to check out The Virgins and catch up with more old friendssss.

Last minute lemonssss

got a last minute call from a friend...she couldn't use her tickets to the lemonheads...so tom and i hopped in a cab...headed for the bowery ballroom and heard evan sing sing sing some great old tunes...
magical rockin vibes...he sang the entire "it's a shame about ray" album and then another twelve or so songs from other albums...
ooh la la...the sound board or whateverrrr....

walked into a magical little nook called pippin on 17th street...antiques, sparkling lights and a little patio...
it's almost spring...the sky has been blue blue blue...
...picked up a crunchy/soft/warm baguette from la bergamote...it's starting to be sweater/scarf weather...winter coats are being put away :)
